Visit in Kaimuki!
Sister restaurant of Kono’s. The Surfing Pig will be nestled in the heart of Kaimuki, on Waialae between 12th ave and Kokohead ave. Along with the inspiration of Kono’s, The Surfing Pig concept is to bring back a Old School vibe in Kaimuki, which really is the Mecca of dining on Oahu.
The Surfing Pig will offer an elevated menu of Kono’s specialized 12hr slow-roasted pork, with variations of new creations of slow-roasted meats, small plates and savory entrees. The new restaurant will have hand-crafted cocktails and a carefully crafted tapas menu at the full serviced bar. The gastropub inspired restaurant will have quite the ambiance with their communal dining in the bar & tables up in their loft.
"Best breakfast burritos of all time!" - Jorgen from Emeryville, CA "I‘ll be dreaming about this place until I’m able to make my way back to Oahu, that’s for sure. I popped in on a whim while exploring the North Shore, and I was in love" -Liza from Columbus, OH. "I live in the Midwest and pulled pork is my favorite BBQ meat. I have never had BBQ pork this good. Skip the luau, drive out of your way, do whatever it takes to eat here!" -Rosemary from Maize, KS"Warning: A Chun’s Bomber with avocado is so good it will ruin all other breakfast burritos for you" - Brandon from Kailua, HI
